Monostable Sensor

Elevator monostable sensor is an inductive detection sensor used for position and level detection that produces a single stable output when a metal target is detected.

Elevator monostable sensors are precision detection components used in elevator systems for cabin position monitoring, floor leveling, and verification of mechanical movements. With the monostable operating principle, the sensor becomes active only when a target is detected and automatically returns to its passive state once the target disappears. This structure ensures clear and accurate signal generation within the system.

Monostable sensors operate using inductive detection technology and detect metal surfaces without physical contact. Since no mechanical contact is required, there is no mechanical wear, allowing stable and long-term operation. This feature provides a significant advantage in elevator systems with high operating cycles.

In elevator applications, monostable sensors are used for critical tasks such as floor level control, door position detection, and speed or stop verification. The single stable signal produced by the sensor is directly interpreted by the control board, contributing to safe and synchronized system operation.

The durable housing structure offers high resistance to vibration, impact, and electromagnetic interference. Models with IP protection ratings provide reliable detection performance even in dusty and humid elevator shaft environments, making them suitable for industrial conditions.

Monostable sensors minimize the risk of false triggering. This prevents incorrect stopping, floor skipping, or unnecessary signal generation in elevator operation. Especially in modernization projects, they are widely preferred as a safer and longer-lasting alternative to older mechanical switches.

In residential, commercial, hospital, and high-traffic elevator systems, monostable sensors are indispensable components for ensuring safety, precision, and continuous system performance.
