Limit Switch

Elevator switch is an electromechanical safety switch used for safety and position control, ensuring that the cabin and mechanical movements operate within defined limits.

Elevator switches are critical safety components used in elevator systems to control the position of moving parts and prevent limit overruns. By detecting the position of the cabin, door, counterweight, or mechanical transmission points, they ensure the system operates safely and within defined limits.

Limit switches open or close the electrical circuit when a predetermined mechanical point is reached. This prevents the elevator from moving in the wrong direction, exceeding its travel limits, or entering dangerous areas. Switches used in the elevator pit, overhead area, and door mechanisms are an integral part of the elevator safety chain.

The product can be adapted to different installation requirements with roller, plunger, or lever-type actuation mechanisms. Its durable body structure provides high resistance to vibration and mechanical impacts. Models with IP protection ratings ensure reliable operation even in dusty and humid environments.

Elevator switches are designed for long-term and intensive use thanks to their high electrical durability. The contact structure operates stably against sudden current changes and prevents false signals within the system. This feature is especially important in elevators located in buildings with heavy passenger traffic.

Widely used in residential, commercial, shopping mall, hospital, and industrial elevator systems, these switches provide reliable solutions for new installations as well as maintenance, revision, and modernization projects. They are among the mandatory components required by elevator regulations and safety standards.
